Summary from Goodreads:
On the last day of her junior year, Hannah's boyfriend Ryan dumped her. Facing a summer of loneliness, Hannah turns to her best friend Ava for comfort. Ava does what BFFs do: she stays by Hannah's side...until it's time for Ava to head up to Maine for the summer. Also left behind is Ava's boyfriend, Noah, who's such a great guy he gets Hannah a job at the diner he waits tables at. Slowly, Hannah comes out of her funk thanks to Noah's good conversation and their fun times at the diner. But things get complicated when their friendship turns into attraction--and one night, into a passionate kiss. The novel opens on the first day of senior year; the day Hannah is going to see Ava, Ryan, and Noah all in one place. Over the course of the day secrets and betrayals are revealed, and alliances are broken and reformed. In the end, everyone is paired up once again, but not the way you might think...

Thoughts:
This book.. wow. The way this novel was told was brilliant. Honestly, I couldn't tear away from it's pages and take a break. I read all of it in one sitting. I was so absorbed in the story that when I finished I looked around and wanted to pick it back up and reread it. The writing was really interesting and unique and I truly enjoyed the way the story was told. It was absolutely hilarious and I had to stop myself from laughing thousands of times when I was reading it due to me being at the library but I couldn't stop grinning and smiling at some scenes. The plot was really intriguing but I truly didn't know what to expect considering I went into it without knowing anything about it whatsoever but I wasn't let down. This is a book I would reread over and over again and still grin at parts. The cover was also one of the things that got my attention. It's so simple and gorgeous and the blanket she's laying on is the perfect touch of color.
Characters:
Okay, main character; loved her sense of humor. Seriously, her humor and replies made me have to bite my lip several times in order to hold back my laughter in the library. She was witty and funny but the way she and Noah clicked was so adorable! I didn't really hate Sebastian's character but he wasn't my favorite either. He was just there, annoying me at times but doing his job. Ava, mmhm.. Ava was an interesting character. I didn't hate her but I can assure you I didn't fall in love with her character or even like her. She was blah. Yup, blah. The only thing I could've asked from Hannah was to stand up to her more because I couldn't tolerate how Hannah looked up to Ava too much. Although, of course, I understand her reasoning. I mean, they'd been best friends for years but still..
Romance:
*le swoon* Give me a minute..
ok. I'm good..
This novel .. the romance.. gosh. I thought this novel was so adorable in this aspect. The characters just click together and you're standing there, reading and thinking Those two need to be together. It's that good or at least, it was for me. I'd be there one minute grinning and the next with my mouth hanging open in shock. The twists and turns of the romance were truly great in this book!
Ending:
I had to put the book down for a second to stop from squealing. When was the last time I did that? .. I don't really remember.. but my point is .. the last book I remember doing that for was Anna and The French Kiss and I loved that book! So, in my point of view, this is a pretty great read! :D
First Sentence:
"I really should not be so scared."
Quotes:
I could open this book and read you any sentence, that's how many lines I could put here.
