Summary from Goodreads;
HER WORLD IS CHANGED FOREVER

Callie lost her parents when the Spore Wars wiped out everyone between the ages of twenty and sixty. She and her little brother, Tyler, go on the run, living as squatters with their friend Michael and fighting off renegades who would kill them for a cookie. Callie's only hope is Prime Destinations, a disturbing place in Beverly Hills run by a mysterious figure known as the Old Man.

He hires teens to rent their bodies to Enders—seniors who want to be young again. Callie, desperate for the money that will keep her, Tyler, and Michael alive, agrees to be a donor. But the neurochip they place in Callie's head malfunctions and she wakes up in the life of her renter, living in her mansion, driving her cars, and going out with a senator's grandson. It feels almost like a fairy tale, until Callie discovers that her renter intends to do more than party—and that Prime Destinations' plans are more evil than Callie could ever have imagined. . . .

Review;
Four stars, really liked it.
How far would people go to be young and alive? Starters amazed me, this book was simply too unique for words but I'll try to do it anyway.

I would say I liked the characters development but truth is, you don't know who anyone really is in this book. I did, however, like Callie, the main character and how she dealt with everything life and the Enders threw at her. From renting her body to finding out deathly secrets, Callie does everything to save her only family member, Tyler. I loved Callie and Tyler's family relationship throughout the book, it was just so funny how they acted towards each other. Now, guy characters; there is a bit of a triangle going on here, but not as much as to start choosing teams like everyone did during the Twilight books and films. There's Michael, from whom you learn as to why the cover is what it is, and then there's Blake, the senator's grandson. Like Price's cover says, survival is just the beginning. Figuring out the truth and who's who is a different story.

Starters has it all, from a new dystopia to some romance mixed in, you won't know when to put the book down. Price makes you anticipate the next book, Enders, as she leaves the readers with a cliffhanger and some simple words.

Trailer; It's so creepy, yet awesome, yet creepy, yet awesome! :D

  1. Awesome review! I just got this book a few days ago and I'm super excited to read it. I think the whole idea of renting out someone's body is a great plot for a book, and I just love dystopian with romance!
