Review:
I am in love with this cover, seriously. It's so cute and the shadows make it even more mysterious. The title fits the story so well considering the characters are exploring unknown feelings and such.
Pushing The Limits was definitely a shocking, emotional roller coaster ride and I loved every second of it! I couldn't put this book down! This is a very deep and emotional read but it wasn't heavy. I was flipping through the pages trying to figure out more about what was going to happen and wondering ;

I really enjoyed reading about the characters in Pushing The Limits. They weren't perfect at all but that just made them more enjoyable to read about. They had their own flaws which is what made them their own person. Noah was a tad possessive at times and he messed up a couple of times, but his intentions were good. There was character development due to all the things and events the characters endured.
The romance was so cute! Katie had managed to achieve something not many writers have done, made the romance cute and realistic. They were brought together by their problems and differences and stayed together because of how similar they were. The writing makes you feel what the character feels through every page of the book. The changing of point of views on every chapter helps to understand what's going through the mind of the main characters which is really helpful.
The ending is somewhat an open ending which was both frustrating and lovely. Frustrating because .. I needed an ending that would help me gather my feelings and lovely because, well, I could insert my own ending which is always good :D

Review:
4 stars, really enjoyed it.
The cover isn't that complex, just a simple mermaid swimming but the sunlight shines through the water so it balances out. Lies Beneath was a book I wasn't pining for, but ended up requesting. Then it so happens that it got approved, so cheers. :D
Lies Beneath had sounded quite interesting as I read the summary from Netgalley and I really hoped it would be the same throughout the whole book, and it delivered. The characters were totally original, and had their own personality, which I adored but I wish I'd gotten to know them more. The romance was so cute and adorable. The plot was not that original, but Greenwood managed to change some things up and spice others, making this story unique.
Basically, Greenwood grabbed elements that make a story unique, mixed them up in a bowl and voila, she made an intriguing book, which had me gasping in shock, and flipping though the pages until I finished it in a sitting.
Anne's Lies Beneath is a truly captivating read that will have you gasping in shock and awaiting the ending while sitting on the edge of your seat.

 1. I want to share this book w/ anyone who hasn't read it because it's AMAZING! It's so darn adorable and cute and *sighs* it's in Paris! The city of love people! ^__^

 The writing and world structure was fantastic and .. it reminds me of harry potter because of the fractions..

 This series is probably going to be on a lot of lists. Care to guess?

The False Prince

This is one of the best books of the year so far for me so of course it's only logical that I would put it.

This book makes you think and it's fresh! It's an intriguing read that I admit I wouldn't have read if my teacher hadn't assigned to us .. but that's not the point. Point is, it's a fantastic read.

I admit, the writing.. not a big fan of but the world building and idea, brilliant!

 This is going to be a movie! *happy dance* Julie Kagawa is an amazing writer that makes you feel as if you're watching a movie as you read her books and watch the scenes unfold.

The characters were fantastic! I haven't even read the rest of the series but this is definitely a book I'd recommend.

**** 4.5 stars; Enjoyable read, would recommend to some people.
Thoughts:
Me throughout most of the book;

I decided to continue because even though the characters frustrated me to the point of almost putting it down, the writing was gorgeous. Such detail! I loved the details because everything felt as if it was displayed in front of you to watch.
Me, frustrated because of the characters and knowing I had to continue because of the writing.

The plot was centered around Calla, whom is the main character and two male characters named Shay and Ren resulting in a love triangle. Now, I don't mind love triangles if written well but if they're not -- well I don't generally enjoy them but for this book I made an exception. Andrea's gorgeous and detailed writing made a structure for the plot which had me riveted from the beginning to the end. Calla has been living in a world built around lies, everything she knows and believes in is a lie.
The characters were frustrating to read about but towards the middle of the book you get to know a much deeper side to them and you come to understand them. You also realize why they act how they act. There is a lot of character development but I do wish I'd seen more of Ren.
The ending was completely and utterly fantastic! It's a cliffhanger which made me feel like this;

I was completely taken back after reading the second half of this novel because of the way the writer and plot pulls you in and makes you flip through the pages even faster. Another element these pages held was action! I couldn't stop to breath between these pages because of the amount of action they held. I would've definitely picked up the second book if it wasn't for the fact that it's already on my shelves, score! Andrea's Nightshade is the first novel in the Nightshade trilogy which I will be continuing due to my curiosity and the beautiful writing.
I recommend this to anyone looking for an action packed novel with beautiful writing and is fast paced.
New cover: I'm a big fan of the first shiny cover but this looks more professional and logical, if that makes any sense. ^__^

Thoughts:
The cover is really cute and simple-ish but it makes the book look/ sound clique when it really deals with deeper things and just much more than it implies. This story is about a girl falling in love for the first time and dealing with all the obstacles that come with it. It's a cute contemporary but it was also a novel with a lesson many go through daily.
Jordan is a girl who's life revolves around football and making her family proud. Jordan's dad doesn't approve of Jordan's like of football and tries to stop her but that makes her even more determined to prove him wrong and make him proud of her. I really admired Jordan's ability to never give up and her determination. The guys in the team each felt like real team members and I enjoyed their roles in the book because they felt were like brothers to Jordan and were protective over her. They made me laugh at their retorts and I felt like you could really really see the relationship between the characters. Her best friend, Henry was probably my favorite character because he had charisma, he was hilarious, and was the perfect best friend anyone could really want. I wish I'd seen more of him.
The romance was well written but I didn't like the new guy! He was so darn possessive and I didn't like his attitude and behavior. I really liked how Jordan was accepted by all the guys in her team.
This book was a quick, fast paced read. It was humorous and had me laughing at lots of scenes in the book.

Thoughts;
Look at the cover, it's so pretty! I love simple covers. :) I was hesitant to read this book because of the separation between Pures & the Crazies but gave in, and greatly enjoyed this novel.
The characters in The Glimpse each had their own personalities which I really enjoyed. No one had the same feel to them. They all felt like real people; someone you could meet somewhere. I wish I'd gotten to know more about the boy Ana was to be bound to, Jasper. I felt that he popped in and out of the story and I just wish I'd gotten to see more of him. Ana was a strong character but she got whiny at times which I could tolerate considering the situations she found herself in.
The romance in this book was really adorable but a teeny bit too fast and unbelievable in a way. One of the characters introduced towards the middle of the book has visions of the future, yes. I know. He manages to see himself and Ana together so technically that's all their romance is started and based on. They do however, get to know each other a bit more and spend time with each other.
This world Merle built is so, well, realistic. It's something I can visualize and see existing. The detailing was enough to visualize some things but not enough to get a perfect image. The pacing was great, not too fast yet not to slow. After getting through the first few pages, the book flowed smoothly. I admit some parts felt slightly repeated but it seemed to me it was more for emphasizes rather than just being repeated. The plot was not what I originally thought it'd be but instead came to result in a bigger picture. I can't wait to read on about Claire's world in the sequel to The Glimpse.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a riveting novel with a strong female character. Also, for fans of great world building, this is for you.

Thoughts:
I had such a hard time thinking of what to write for this review because I felt that it's too awesome to put into words. Same thing happened when I read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. The cover is quite simple but it portrays the book rather well.
The writing was gorgeous! I could visualize and even feel like I was in the book not just sitting down and reading it. The details were wonderful, I could see everything the author described.  You could get to feel for the characters and want to learn more about them but you couldn't feel the author in them. It was as if as soon as I opened the book, they took a life of their own. I really liked reading about Sage's character and journey. He developed quite a lot in the book for the best and I couldn't help but root for him while reading. He was sarcastic too, adding humor to the novel. Every character in Nielsen's The False Prince has a role and is significant. No one just appears for show, they all have a well, role they play which adds up to the big picture and ending.
I guess you could say there was a smidge of romance but it doesn't take over the plot of the book, which I actually quite enjoyed considering the focus was on the training to be the false prince.
Towards the end, there was some rather big twists which left me shocked and flipping through the book even faster to find out what had happened. This book felt like a puzzle and you slowly got piece by piece of it throughout the book until the end where you get a magnificent ending that clears up so many questions.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a fast paced novel with gorgeous writing and a riveting plot.

Book Review: The Last Little Blue Envelope by Maureen Johnson ( Little Blue Envelope #2 )

Thoughts:
I was hesitant to read this book because my friend told me she'd read it and wait for it, there was a love triangle. Sigh, I don't hate triangles but I also don't read them if I can avoid it. Main reason is because they annoy me when the girl can't choose and the answer is pretty obvious on who she should be with. Anywho, I gave it a chance because I really enjoyed the first book and man, am I glad I read it. This book totally delivered. I felt that I enjoyed The Last Little Blue Envelope more than I enjoyed Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes. 
There was action and of course they were on a road trip! I love books about road trips, especially after reading Amy and Roger's Detour. They always seem to portray characters more than a regular novel would. I enjoyed continuing reading about Ginny's road trips and her journey through life. I felt that this book was much more enjoyable because the characters developed even more. There was a new character introduced in this book, which I came to adore and there was an old character that I came to want to slap along with Ginny. The romance was realistic and adorable! I loved the new character and the twist he comes along with. I really like Johnson's writing because just when you think you know what's going to happen, she drops a bombshell and you're caught up in the story over again. I couldn't stop reading The Last Little Blue Envelope or put it down at all. The only thing that bothered me was the ending, it just wasn't as .. satisfying as I'd hope it'd be. Overall though, the book didn't let me down. :)
I recommend picking up The Last Little Blue Envelope or picking up Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes if you haven't read it.

*swoon swoon* I adored Ren in Tiger's Curse and I can't wait to find out more about him and his brother in this sequel. The only thing I'm really hoping doesn't happen is a love triangle. *Shakes head*

Review:
I adore this series, really. One of my favorite things about this series is that you can pick any book of the series and read it. It doesn't have to be in any particular order and I really enjoy that. I also adore these covers, they're so colorful and simple. The book is also smaller than the usual printings.
I was worried at first because Marlene switches up some things and main characters but my worries disappeared as I got to know Jessica and read on. Jessica is not someone I can completely relate to but I did enjoy seeing her character face the challenges that came up and how she developed throughout the book. Her character was kind of oblivious at times but she caught onto things eventually. I was not disappointed with the romance and action in this book because it was simply filled with it. The romance was also not straight up falling in love, there's some background on that too. The romance was a tad too fast for my liking but it worked out towards the end. The pacing was consistent and never slowed down or went too fast except for an occasional moment in the story. The ending was great! I love how Marlene manages to give you a satisfying ending but leaves you wanting the next books in the series.
I'd recommend Dead is a Battlefield to anyone wanting a quick, light read that manages to include action and romance within it's pages too. I would also recommend it to fans of zombies. ;D
